April 22 Earth Day – Wildflower Seed Paper Workshop
Spring season begins at Wildflower Farm! Come and celebrate Earth Day at Wildflower Farm by making your very own wildflower seed paper. An activity both the kids and the earth will love. Cost of activity is $3 and registration is appreciated. For Earth Day Wildflower Farm will donate 10% of every seed purchase to the Couchiching Conservancy. June 18 Alpine Garden Seminar

Come and see our new scree garden at Wildflower Farm and learn what wildflowers and grasses grow best in these dry harsh conditions. Includes plant identification as well as a tour of Wildflower Farm’s Native Gardens.
June 25 For the Birds Seminar
Birds are always a welcome visitor in the garden as they provide excellent pest control and amusing company. Learn which native plants best attract songbirds and how to encourage them to keep coming back. Also learn key design elements in your garden that will provide habitat and a safe and welcoming environment. Seminar also includes plant identification as well as a tour of Wildflower Farm’s Native Gardens.
July 16 Art in the Garden
Wildflower Farm’s native wildflower botanical gardens will be the backdrop for this exciting exhibition of local artisans. Enjoy all types of artwork and meet the artists who create them. Garden and nature lovers are encouraged to enjoy the synergy between the wildflower gardens and the art. Relax with refreshments in the wildflower gazebo or take a guided tour of the garden and learn how to garden sustainably with native wildflowers and grasses.

Held at the peak of Monarch spotting season, this popular seminar will share extensive knowledge of butterflies and caterpillars of the wildflower garden eco-systems. The basics of successful sustainable landscaping methods will be covered as well as how to grow native plants in difficult conditions. Includes plant, caterpillar, butterfly and insect identification as well as a tour of Wildflower Farm Native Gardens.

Attendees will also get a rare behind the scenes look at how Wildflower Farm collects, stores and cleans seed for our wildflower mixes.
