This handsome plant grows in just
about any soil conditions, producing radiant
yellow flat-topped flowers in late summer and
early fall. The greenish-yellow leaves add
interest throughout the growing season. A strong
attracter of butterflies, Stiff Goldenrod's seeds
are also relished by songbirds. Very effective
when used in groupings or isolated clumps.
SEED
GERMINATION INFO
Cold, moist
stratification. Mix seed with moist but
not wet, sterile growing medium. Place
mixture in a labeled, sealed plastic bag
and store in refridgerator for six to
eight weeks. Note: Some seed may
germinate in the storage bag if moist
stratified too long. If sprouting occurs,
plant immediately. Another method is to
sow seed outdoors in late autumn so that
they may overwinter. Approx. 41,000 seeds per oz. - 80 seeds per pack
