One of our most popular plants,
this is also one of the most strikingly beautiful
of all wildflowers. The large yellow flowers
bloom in profusion in the heat of mid-summer.
Easy to grow, this tough plant easily survives
extreme heat, drought, flooding and winter cold.
Growing well on moist, medium and dry soils,
Yellow Coneflower eats clay for breakfast!
SEED
GERMINATION INFO
Cold, moist
stratification. Mix seed with moist but
not wet, sterile growing medium. Place
mixture in a labeled, sealed plastic bag
and store in refridgerator for six to
eight weeks. Note: Some seed may
germinate in the storage bag if moist
stratified too long. If sprouting occurs,
plant immediately. Another method is to
sow seed outdoors in late autumn so that
they may overwinter. Approx. 30,000 seeds per oz. - 60 seeds per pack
