Our Blog

First off, thanks for taking the time to scoot over to our brand new blog; you’re in for a real treat! Twenty-fourteen is going to be a big year for Wildflower Farm and we’ll be using the blog to keep you informed and up-to-date but also to hold contests, share knowledge, and just generally provide you with something interesting to read each week. Join us every Thursday for a new posting and, as always, we’d love to hear your feedback!

Want these blogs to come to your email? Simple! Just click the “Follow Us” link to the right and you’ll receive instant updates.

This year will also see the launch of Miriam’s new book, Taming Wildflowers. On the right you’ll see a little section called, “Where is Miriam”. This will highlight book signings, presentations, and other engagements Miriam will be attending so you can plan to be there if you so desire. And you’ll see a few listed there already, bringing us nicely to…

Get the Jump on Spring!

This annual (or should we say perennial) event is being held this year on February 22 from 10am – 4pm at the Toronto Botanical Garden. Admission is free but donations are appreciated. Don’t miss the garden tours, book sale, and competitions.

And, of course, don’t miss Miriam’s presentation (1:30 – 2:15) in the Garden Hall and book signing (2:30 – 3:15) in the Weston Family Library. Her presentation will highlight the many aspects of Taming Wildflowers while the book signing will signify its official Canadian launch.

If you can’t be at the launch, don’t worry, Miriam will also be speaking at Canada Blooms on March 15, 2013 and at the Chicago Flower & Garden Show, March 21, 2013. For more details, see the event listing to your right.

Finally, if you’d like to order a copy of Miriam’s book, there are several ways to go about it:
